On day five, we visited the Magic Kingdom. We stayed at the Disney Resort Port Orleans-Riverside. So the picture below was taken while we were waiting on the bus to take us to see the castle. It was so easy to get the kids up and going this morning because they were so excited to go!
The day started out a little cloudy, but it didn't rain on our parade! Their little eyes just sparkled when we pulled up and they saw the top of the castle over the tree tops.
We had barely gotten into the park when we had the chance to see Mary Poppins. This is one of the kids favorite Disney movies so they were excited, well all but Aldon. I'm not sure if he was just being a little shy or a little overwhelmed...but he warmed up eventually.
Grandma and Grandpa went with us this day. What a help! I thought we were going during the "off season." Well atleast that's what they said when we booked it. It was so busy and hard to walk, let alone keep track of the kidos. Small World was the first ride we took...
And then we got to see Buzz...awesome!!
One of the cast members was drawing with water and a broomstick. He asked Carlyn if she'd like to help. She gave old Mickey some eyelashes.
Before we left for the night, we watched the Electric Parade and saw the fireworks. I do have to say this was probably one of their favorite things. All three were smiling from ear to ear. When the characters would ride by and wave, Bowen would wave real big and just smile. You could tell that in his little mind, HE was the only one getting waved at. Definitly a priceless moment!!
God Bless America float..
This was our first glimpse of Mickey..
