Our second day at Disney started with Breakfast with the characters. We had a buffet at Cape May Cafe'. I had made our reservations for 9:15 and WE MADE IT ON TIME! Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not always on time. Florida is an hour ahead of us too! So the kids were so excited each time a character came by to take a picture and sign their autograph books! It was hard to eat with all the excitment and other kids running around. It made us feel completly normal...there were other kids throwing fits and being down right onry...ours were actually all behaving!
This was one of the kids plates at breakfast.
I was worried that Masyn might cry but she just went on as usual.
After breakfast, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom. We didn't feel like we saw all we wanted to so we played catch up. Carlyn was a HUGE help this day. With only two strollers, Brodie usually had one of the boys on his shoulders and Carlyn helped me push the other stroller. We saw the Counrty Bear Jamboree...which the kids really enjoyed (and it was in an air conditioned theater.)
We saw this on the boat ride. The boys were convinced these elephants were real.
Carlyn and her ears...
By this point in the afternoon, Aldon was sacked out in the stroller so I took Carlyn and Bo on the Aladdin's Carpet Ride.
Before dinner, we rode the monorail to Epcot. (Or Epricot like Carlyn says.) The kids had watched videos online and were patiently waiting to ride the train in the sky. I think it was all they had thought it would be. Once we got to Epcot, it was like we were in a different world. It was not busy at all and we all were so much more laid back.
The week we were there was Epcot's flower festival. This was another thing we watched online so the kids were actually excited to see all the flowers. It's amazing all the detail and work it must have taken.
So here was where the next "incident" occured. We were getting ready to go on the Nemo ride. Brodie and I were changing Masyn's diaper. Next thing I know, Brodie says to me, "You better go get him before he goes out there." Well I wasn't fast enough. See the bushes before the red flowers? That's where Bowen was "frolicing" in the grass. I really don't think he knew better. He just saw an open grassy area and it must have looked like a good place to roam. But oh how embarrassing! I had to go out there and get him. You should have felt the grass though. It was so purfect, it was like walking on tissue paper.
All the flowers and bushes were so pretty. It literally took cranes to get some of the pieces put into place.
In every picture I took by the butterfly, Bowen had his shorts hiked up. He was full of it, I think he got his second wind.
At the end of the day, we watched the fireworks here too. They had them over the lake and also had lasers with the fireworks. Bowen had fallen asleep the night before so he didn't get to see the ones at the Magic Kingdom. They definitly go all out!
