Vacation-Day 8

Day 8 of our vacation was the last day we were to spend at Disney.  We got all of our things all packed up and then went down to eat breakfast.  Afterwards, we did a little sight seeing around our resort.  It was absoluetly beautiful!  We stayed at Port Orleans-Riverside.  Every detail at the resort had the Bayou feel.
We took a boat ride from our resort to another resort.  It was very relaxing and a great start to our day.  We wished we a had a little more time to do some of the things our resort offered....maybe next time.
By the time we arrived at Animal Kingdom, the clouds were starting to roll in.  Up to this point we had great weather...a little hot but so much nicer than what we left at home.
There was a decent sized roller coaster that looked like so much fun to me.  Carlyn wasn't so sure if she'd like it or not.  She had rode the Barnstormer at one of the other parks and wasn't too happy with me for talking her into it.  So after a little pursuading on my part (I told her that since it was mommy's birthday, she could surely go on it with me) she got in line with me.  WE HAD A BLAST!  And mind you it was much bigger than the Barnstormer.  We were both laughing so hard, it was hard to get out of the car when the ride was over.  If it hadn't started lightning, she was going to take Daddy on it.  Then it started to rain...
We found a place to hang out while it POURED!  After sitting around and eating some ice cream, the kids were getting a little antsy and wanted to go out and play in the rain.  By this point, we had been sitting under cover for at least 45 minutes and had carried on quite the conversation with an older couple sitting there also.  We found out where they were from, etc, etc. They told us what a nice family we had...and then the next "incident" happened.  I heard a bunch of laughing and this lady saying "Sir! Sir! He pulled his pants down!" Yep, one of our sons decided to pull his pants down right out there in the middle of the walk way at Disney World.  Not sure if he had to potty..if the pants were bothering him because they were wet...or if it just felt good.  So poor Daddy ran out there and pulled his pants up and was trying with all he had to not laugh.  In the meantime, I was crying because 1. I was SO embarrased and 2. I was trying so hard to hold my laughter in.  Oh my!  Needless to say, this "nice family" left this spot that was nice and dry and started walking.
Before we left, we went on a safari ride.  This was the kids favorite part of the day.
This giraffe got a little too close for comfort.  You know how on America's Funniest Videos, the animals get real close and then lick the person sitting in the car..I was that worried that it was going to happen to me.  It didn't though...thankfully!
It was sad leaving Disney but very exciting knowing we were going to the beach for a few days.
