The day has finally arrived! Carlyn Sue is six!!! Carlyn started off her day with a gift from her brothers. She got some new Barbie clothes. Aldon was so proud because he picked them out on his own. We ate lunch with Nana at Otts, visited with Grandma and then headed to the bowling alley for some birthday fun. Her new comforter came just in time. Just before we headed to town, the mail lady dropped off a big box. She was grinning from ear to ear. It was just what she wanted!

Its all about the approach. She got 1 strike and two spares. Not too bad!
I was so suprised at how well each of them were able to hold the bowling ball.
Carlyn and I learned that Aldon only has interest in one game. We started the second game and heard him ask over and over, "Is it time for Bible School yet?"
Yes, those are ice cream sandwiches. I "whipped" it up after Bible School, set it on the table and she just looked at me like "Are you kidding me?" One day she'll appreciate some of the silly things I do, I hope.
