It's been two weeks ago already since we had Aldon's party. Man time flies! This year Aldon wanted to have a Star Wars party. He had never seen Star Wars, so it must look pretty interesting to a 5 year old boy. We went to the party store and picked out all the accessories and counted down the number of days til his birthday for at least 30 days.
I made him cupcakes into the shape of the number 5. I did this when Carlyn turned 5 so we decided we'd just start a tradition. And of course I made them in Aldon's favorite color-red.
Aldon had been asking for a DS ever since Carlyn had gotten hers. So finally he gets one and was so excited! He told Brodie and I thank you for it everyday for almost a week.
On the eve of his birthday, we went to see Star Wars in 3D. It was a long movie, but everyone did so good! They had their popcorn and soda pop...life was great!
