It is so exciting to see how each of the kids have different personalities. Carlyn asked a few weeks ago how many more babies I was going to have. I told her that this was it. Her response was, "How do you know that?" So I told her that God and I had a really good talk and decided that four children was just the right number of children for Daddy and I. Carlyn said "ok" and went on about her business. Well yesterday at lunch Aldon asked me how the baby got into my stomach. I told him that God put it there. His response was "How did He do that?" I told him that he just did. Well that wasn't enough for Aldon. His next question was "Did you see Him put her in there?" I told him no I didn't see it. I told him that maybe it happened when I was sleeping, babies start off really, really small. I could see his wheels turning. A few minutes later he said, "Maybe that's why you did all that puking." I asked him what he meant. He said that he thought that when God pushed the baby into my stomach it gave me an upset stomach and made me puke a lot. Oh, what a 4 year old perspective! I can already see the conversations in the years ahead. Carlyn just takes what you tell her in stride and Aldon analyzes everything and has to question it. I wonder how many different times The Birds and The Bees will have to be modified?
