Our Easter morning started shortly after 6. Carlyn has been setting her alarm to get up for school lately and I guess her internal clock told her to get up. Really? That early? Needless to say we had to wake the boys up at that time so that everyone could see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. He brought them a basketful of goodies and hid eggs all over the living room. Bowen really got into the egg hunt once he found out that there was candy in the eggs. By the time we left for church everyone of Bo's jelly beans were gone. So I really wanted to get a picture of the three of them together. We were already running late for church but you know me I wasn't going to let this opprotunity slip by. Bowen was not cooperating at all. However Carlyn and Aldon looked sweet as could be!
After the unsuccessful attempt at church, I thought I'd try one more time to get a picture of the three of them together. It ended up working out that I got a great picture of them with Dad. Bowen was on the bottom of his sugar high though and was really tired!
I think that there is only one other picture of me and the three kids together, so Brodie insisted we take it. Turns out Bo didn't want to have any part in having his picture taken for the millionth time that day.
Carlyn reminded me of myself once again. She wanted to take a picture of us and I'm so glad she did. She is going to be quite the little photographer someday!
I'm telling you, when all else fails, bribe him with some cheese!
