Yesterday Aldon had his birthday party. It was a long awaited for day!
This looks like pure trouble! All three with lollipops.

So there was a round table that had all the gifts on it. Aldon had a strategic plan when it came time to open them. He started out on this side of the table opening gifts according to the size and look of the wrapping.

Eventually he made it clear around to the other side of the table. Taking only a very brief look inside the package if it contained clothes.

His Buzz Lightyear cake that Autumn made for him. He was so excited to see it.

Aldon went to the party store with me to get the supplies for his party. He already knew in his mind exactly what he was after because he had been looking through the party catalogs we got in the mail. He found this pinata. I didn't realize until I went to fill it that it was a pull string pinata. Never heard of that before. Luckily, we had the birthday boy go first, because the red string he pulled was the string that opened the pinata. It happened so fast, all the kids waiting in line to pull the string, didn't realize what had happened.

OK. According to Aldon he is officially four, we went to the Dairy Queen. He wanted to go to DQ for his birthday and I must have over explained that he would have his birthday party the day before his birthday and on his actual birthday we would go to Dairy Queen for ice cream. So he insisted all day long that he was still three because we hadn't been to the Dairy Queen yet.

Getting our chili dogs and ice cream.

Happy Birthday to You!

Mom and Dad got him a new weed eater and this dress up fireman's costume. He told Brodie, "Look Dad, now I really do look like you."

Sis and Bo got him this Iron Man pillow that he threw an absolute fit in Meijer over. This has been at least two months ago, but he remembered it and was sooo excited to get it!
