Carlyn has wanted to ride a horse for awhile so we decided to invite her friends over to Kickapoo where there are trail rides. When we woke up the morning of the party and it was cloudy. Luckily it didn't rain because I had no plan B. A few of her friends rode over there with us. They talked and giggled and sang VBS songs the whole way there.
Carlyn said from the get go that she wanted to ride a white horse because Hanna Montanna has a white horse. What do we have here, a white horse. She was thrilled.
The white horse's name is Spirit. Spirit didn't want to do what the trainers said. She was going to trot to the loading stool when she wanted and how she wanted. What a perfect match.
This is the General Lee. He is a much bigger horse.

Aldon insisted that he was going to ride a pony not a horse. Once he found out that Spirit was a "big pony" he was ready to ride.
Each of the kids wanted Carlyn to open the present they brought first. On more than one occasion Carlyn hollared "You guys stop it and back up." Sounds like someone else I know.
