Summer Bucket List-updated

So I've been inspired the past few days to make a summer bucket list.  It's sooo easy to fall in the rut of cleaning/doing launry and sleeping in.  (Ok...8 oclock isn't too bad, is it?)  Here are some of the plans the kids and I have come up with...

Go camping (this is the first thing all three said)

Visit the Children's museum

Go to the zoo

Have a picnic at the park with Dad on Dad's lunch break

Join the library's reading club (and finish all the levels)

Go garage salin'

Do swimming lessons

Go to the pool

Have a play date with some friends

Go to Bible School

Have a slumber party with a cousin

Go to the Drive-in

Go to Bible Camp

catch fireflies

See a parade

Make flowers for nursing home residents

Watch fireworks

Go to the movie theater

Go to the indoor park

Do a 4th of July craft

Roast hotdogs and smores over the fire

Go to the fair

Go fishing

Have a lemonade stand

Go to the planetarium

Go bowling

And how many weeks are there before school starts?  We've gotten a couple of these done but I need to get busy putting the rest on the calendar.  I'm sure they'll come up with some more too! I can't wait to see what all we acomplish...pictures to come...

Well I'm not sure how, but we were able to do so many fun things this summer.  We got most of our list accomplished, plus a few extra things.  Despite the heat, we made the most of our time and enjoyed being around one another...well for the most part.  Hmmm...will make another attempt at a bucket list this fall??
