Carlyn has gotten back into the hang of school. She really enjoyed Christmas break but is glad to be back. She is patiently waiting to learn cursive at school and this week brought home her first 100 math fact page. She has me time her to see how many she can get done and is able to get almost all of them in 4 minutes...she continues to amaze me. She has also started basketball at the youth center and has her first game soon. It was kind of funny to see that she is on the Michigan team...again. We were able to spend a few afternoons outside this week due to this crazy weather. It was good for everyone, including mom.
Good old Aldon has been growing like a weed. He is really doing well with his letters and now has homework time while Sissy has homework time. He flips through his three ring binder full of the letter of the week and IS INTERESTED! YAY! He's fascinated with numbers and talks about going to Sissy's school all the time. I asked Carlyn if she was going to let him sit by her on the bus and she said, "Maybe." Oh, this mom is going to have a hard time letting him get on that bus. At least I have a few months before I have to deal with that. They are growing up too fast!
Then there is the Bo Man. It has been a little less eventful the past week...as far as Bowen is concerned. There's one thing about him, he keeps me on my toes. He is too funny though. If the toilet paper is close to being empty, he changes it. If there are crumbs on the floor, he gets out the little sweeper. He constantly thinks Masyn's diaper needs changed and does not let me forget a thing! If something is missing, all you have to do is ask Bo where it is and he'll take you right to it. He has also started to go to bed like a big boy. Well, after a little time of daddy laying with him. He knows when its Friday though, because that is the night he gets to rock. And Tuesdays are the highlight of his week because he gets to go to Bible study. He has picked up a favorite song there, "God's Grace" and usually comes home and does a little preaching. What a sweetie!
