The boys each made a pine cone bird feeder the other day at bible study. We had to hang it up outside right away. Well the next morning when they looked outside, they were upset to see that the squirrels had drug one of them out into the yard. Next thing I know, Bowen is outside in his stocking feet, hanging it back up. Mind you, its freezing cold out! So they kept watch out the front window all morning. They would holler or knock on the window if a squirrel came near. After we picked Aldon up from preschool later that morning, one pine cone had completely disappeared. The morning after that, the next one had disappeared. Bowen was so mad. "Those were for the birds!"
