Swimming Lessons

Last week sure was a busy week. I have alot to catch up on. Carlyn and Aldon both started swimming lessons last week. They both were so excited....then we got to the pool. My guess was that Aldon would be a natural. He splashes in the tub and doesn't mind having water in his face. I embraced the fact that Carlyn doesn't like to have water on her face or in her ears, so she would probably have to be dragged in. Boy was I wrong. Carlyn got right out there and is officially jumping into the "deep water" as of today. I can see her confidence growing each day we go. She does all this without getting her face wet. Aldon was not so sure. He keeps saying that he is scared he is going to fall in. He did go out to the 2 foot water one day last week and let a coach carry him to the 5 ft. Thats about as far as it has went. Today he didn't even get his feet wet. He'll come around!
